| 1 . You must use the same army for each game. |
| 2 . The models must be painted Citadel miniatures. |
| 3 . The 4th edition set of rules must be used. |
| 4. You must conduct yourself in a manner that will not bring our awesome hobby into disrepute. |
| 5 . You may not exceed 1,750 points and may only use one Force Detachment. |
| 6 . You must create your army using the appropriate 4th edition Codex, either Chapter Approved book (Chapter Approved, Recommended Optional Lists only and no articles marked as "Trial"), or Index Astartes army lists. You may use army lists published in the Chapter Approved articles in White Dwarf unless they are labeled as "trial rules". |
| 7 . Your army must be made up of Citadel, Marauder or Forge World miniatures. |
| 8 . What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG). If a model is armed with an item, it must be shown on the figure. Models for army list choices that aren't available must be converted. If you are in any way in doubt about whether your conversion or scratch built piece might not be acceptable, please call us before the tournament. We don 't want someone to show up with something they can 't use. Remember, if you are in doubt you are probably right and shouldn't do it. |
| 9 . No Special Character at all whether they require opponents consent or not. The only exception is the Emperor's champion in the Black Templars army, who must be taken |
| 10 . You may use vehicle rules from Imperial Armour 1, 2 and the Imperial Armour Update. (yes you may use flyers) |
| 11 . Armies that may make use of "Jungle Fighting" rules may do so as long as they are used within the confines of an appropriate (woods or jungle) terrain piece. |
| 12. You must bring all materials needed to play including: dice, measuring device, templates, models and any rules that you will be using. |
| 13. If two or more versions of your army list are in print you must use the most recent. |
